Dope Find: Melody Ehsani Fearless Collection

Persian jewelry designer Melody Ehsani is so dope! I’ve bought a few of her pieces from her line and I will definitely be buying more. I get compliments on her jewelry every time I wear them! And I can NEVER have enough gold jewelry!

Checking in on what’s new on her site, I stumbled up on her “Fearless” Collection and am really loving a lot of the pieces I see. Especially the $100 bill ring, luxury iphone 5 case, abstract nail wraps and arabic nameplate! What I love most about her concept of jewelry is that she keeps things fresh while staying on trend and maintains the perfect dash of Persian flare ::insert emoji heart face::.

Threads of the Day: Not So Candid Renae Cut Offs

Sometimes life requires you to push it to the limit.  That’s been my approach to a lot of things lately: when getting dressed every morning, picking up a new skill, and even making major career decisions. Just go for it!

But taking it back to the closet, it can be fun to push yourself to the limit! In my opinion it’s all about strategy and class. Pick an asset you want to focus on and keep the rest subtle. I chose my legs by rocking a pair of short, distressed Renae Cut Offs and over-the-knee socks. By focusing on my legs, I stayed bundled up on top and kept things simple on my feet.

Thread List:

-Shorts: Renae Cut Offs
-Gold leaf necklace:K’La Boutique
-Silver spike necklace: Forever 21
- “The Truth” necklace: Melody Ehsani
-Tiger ring: Forever 21
-Gold metallic belt: Zara
-Sweater: H&M
-Boots: Steve Madden
-Over-the-knee socks: random store

I was inspired by a street style photo I saw where a girl stacked three different necklaces on making it look like one big statement piece. I loved the idea and gave it a shot with my own little twist! What do you think? Success lol?

As far as my makeup goes, I decided to go with something neutral. Clean face, bronze skin, and a nude lip. Here are some of my favorites I’ve been wearing lately!

-YSL Faux Cils Mascara
-Sonia Kashuk bronzer in Goddess (40)
-Rimmel London Moisture Renew lipstick in “Nude Delight” (642).
-Dolce & Gabbana lipgloss in “Innocence”
-OPI nail polish in “Khloe Had A Little Lam Lam” (not pictured)

Can’t exit the scene without my rockstar impression! lol I hope everyone is having a great week!

Dope Obsession: Melody Ehsani Accessories

A girl can never have too many accessories in my opinion! I personally love unique accessories, shoes, and clothes that everyone doesn’t have lined up in their closets.

My newest obsession is designer Melody Ehsani, born and raised in Los Angeles in a traditional Persian family, who decided to break away from her culture and follow her dreams and heart into the field of design. Check out more of her story here

Her pieces have lined the necks, fingers, ears, and wrists of celebrities like Rihanna, Cassie, Nicki Minaj, Diggy Simmons, Estelle, and Erykah Badu just to name a few.

Welp, I decided to stack up on a few Melody Ehsani pieces for my jewelry collection. Here’s what I bought:

"That girl is … Poison" earrings (super dope!)

"The Truth" necklace (written in Arabic)

Quick Instagram flick rockin my new necklace :)

What I love most about her accessories is that they are original and most of all, affordable! The pieces I received are great quality and arrived at my house within two days from ordering them.

Melody is also designing a sick pair of python skin print sneakers with neon green laces for Reebok. Check them out below, along with a recent Instagram flick of Rihanna rocking the "Queen of the Jungle" necklace (snatched up by quite a few celebs).
