Dope Find: Melody Ehsani Fearless Collection

Persian jewelry designer Melody Ehsani is so dope! I’ve bought a few of her pieces from her line and I will definitely be buying more. I get compliments on her jewelry every time I wear them! And I can NEVER have enough gold jewelry!

Checking in on what’s new on her site, I stumbled up on her “Fearless” Collection and am really loving a lot of the pieces I see. Especially the $100 bill ring, luxury iphone 5 case, abstract nail wraps and arabic nameplate! What I love most about her concept of jewelry is that she keeps things fresh while staying on trend and maintains the perfect dash of Persian flare ::insert emoji heart face::.

Dope Find: Lucienne Francois Custom Blend Cosmetics

Have you ever bought a lip color, used that baby all the way up, and then return to the store to purchase it again just to find out that it’s been discontinued? I HATE when that happens! Why does it seem like all the good colors get discontinued?

Well I found a super dope solution to that and more! Lucienne Francois is a talented business woman who specializes in Custom Blend Cosmetics. You’ve seen me rock one of her custom blend blue lipsticks in this Threads of the Day post

I wanted something new and fun for the summer, and decided to go for a pop of blue and soft lilac lipstick to jazz up my summer makeup.

And it doesn’t stop at lipsticks, she can make anything you need, including custom or replicated nail polish, lip gloss, foundation, bronzer and eye shadow.

I love how pigmented the lipstick is and the nail polish could definitely pass for a dupe of an OPI shade. Here is a close up of the custom blue lipstick.

Fun right?!

And here’s a close up of the custom lilac with the lilac lipgloss applied on top!

This color is trending for Spring and Summer and is a fresh alternative to wearing pink. I only applied two coats of the lipstick and have no liner underneath.

The next time you run out of your favorite shade of anything and find that it’s been discontinued or even if you want to create your own custom color, check out Lucienne Francois Custom Blend Cosmetics at !

Dope Find: Nasty Gal Spring 2013 Collection

I love a unique piece, and Nasty Gal tests the waters often with each of their collections. Their Spring 2013 collection caught my eye mainly due to the heavy influence of scuba inspired pieces. Who would have thought there would be so many ways to incorporate that fabric into everyday items and not just swimwear?

I have fallen in love with the sporty chic trend popping up for Spring. Here are some of my favorite looks and pieces from the collection. I’m forecasting lots of mesh, loose drapey fabrics, and believe it or not, overalls (renamed as a jumper/jumpsuit) are making a chic comeback. The real element of surprise is the cool detailing when you turn around. Effortless style is right up my alley!

How would you rock the “scuba look”?

Dope Find: Kanye West x Giuseppe Zanotti Cruel Summer Sandals

The Cruel Summer album was released back in September of last year, but Kanye’s not done with the theme yet. There were rumors of Ye teaming up with Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti to create a heavenly luxury shoe, and my-oh-my is it heavenly!

Kanye’s girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, posted a photo on her Instagram of her being one of the first to wear Ye’s new design. Dope ish for sure!

The all-white, leather, stiletto heels feature a ceramic cut out leaf design as the focal point trailing up to the ankle with a buckle closure. I love how dainty these sandals are yet still giving that major wow factor!

The concept design seems like it was heavily influenced by the Cruel Summer cover art …

But wait, there’s more! Mr. Zanotti designed his own shoe based of the Cruel Summer sandals as well. He chose to go with a gold and black design and instead of a stiletto heel, a sky-high inward wedge heel was added on.

On the right foot with the right pedicure, these shoes would be everything! I would definitely rock the Kanye version! You can too for $1,625 on the Luisa Via Roma website

What do you think about Kanye’s Cruel Summer stilettos? Would you rock them?

Dope Find: Teyana Taylor x adidas Originals Harlem GLC Sneakers

Teyana Taylor posted about her newest sneaker project with Adidas weeks ago on Instagram and I must say, I’m definitely feeling her new creation. She’s been on her pretty girl tomboy swag since I saw her on MTV’s Super Sweet 16, and I love that she’s stayed true to her identity before it became a “trend”.

Her Teyana Taylor x adidas Originals Harlem GLC kicks are super dope with the bronze leather skin-like exterior, black loop laces accelerating up the back of the ankle, and signature Adidas logo stamped on the side and even larger on the tongue. Here’s a closer look.

The kicks are said to release February 16th, 2013. I’ll definitely be getting a pair!

Just for kicks, here is a throwback picture of me and Teyana at a Glambar event she hosted in Atlanta like two summers ago.

Stay dope Teyana.
